Advantages of working abroad
I started working outside India about 20 years back, things have changed a lot over the period of time.
Pros and Cons of working abroad would depend on some factors mentioned below

Advantages of working abroad
Better Salary – Accept a job from a different country only if you are going to earn at least 3-4 times more than what you earn at your home country and able to save at least 50
More Savings – If you are able to save 50% of your salary
Tax benefits – As far as India is concerned, there is no income tax for NRI, so whatever you send to your home, you are exempt from any income tax.

Before accepting a job offer
You might be getting a job offer from a company directly or through a recruitment company. What I have been seeing is that many of the unskilled and skilled job offers are from recruiting agencies and they charge a huge fees for the job. The employee is not ware of the company, even not in touch with the HR of the company almost till joining the job. This I personally feel is not the right way. Employee should have complete knowledge of the company / employer where he is going to work, working conditions, facilities and copy of the employment contract.
So before joining or accepting a job offer, make sure that you are not paying a service charge which is not more than 1-2 months salary.
You are in touch with your employer
Have a copy of the job contract
Have all the details like your working conditions, salary details, living conditions, travel / flight tickets to travel to the country, holiday benefits, etc
Travel for work to only those countries where they have respect for expatriate worker, employees are treated like normal humans and have proper rights.
Make sure that the country you are going to work does not have any restrictions in sending your earnings back home.
To conclude, it is good to go abroad to work, but make sure that you are considering the above mentioned facts. To summarise, better salary, good employer, a country where foreign workers are respected and given all the rights as an employee and human being. Also there should not be any restrictions in transferring earning to home country.
